Pretty Ballerinas faces a formidable challenge each season: to reinvent the ballet flat — again. But the 8-year-old Menorca, Spain-based brand, often spotted on the feet of such celebrities as Kate Moss, Sienna Miller and Olivia Palermo, has mastered the art of subtle differentiation. For spring '14, the label pumped up the classic silhouette with bold colors, varied textures and on-trend details, including mesh and vinyl panels and bows. Pretty Ballerinas retails from $179 to $299 and is sold on the label's e-commerce site and in its branded boutiques in more than 15 countries, including the U.S. Bloomingdale's added Pretty Ballerinas for spring '14, and the footwear also is available at Harrods and Fenwick in the U.K., Twist in Hong Kong and e-tailers Farfetch.com, Yoox.com, Bonfaire.com and Forzieri.com.
