Abel Muñoz studied up for spring '15. The designer was inspired by women in fashion throughout history — then and now — citing "strength and elegance" and "hard and soft" as buzzwords for the collection. Fittingly, each handcrafted Italian style is named after a boundary-breaking woman — from the Elsa tasseled stiletto (a nod to Schiaparelli) to the Phoebe peep-toe pump with jagged trim (named for Celine’s Phoebe Philo). The Toronto-based label is sold at George C and Oglivy in Canada, plus Harvey Nicholas in Kuwait City. Prices range from $450 for flats and ballerina styles to $895 for more intricate heels.
