Robert Clergerie has introduced a deconstructed look for spring ’15.

Collaborating with British knitwear brand Sibling, Robert Clergerie Homme adapted its Delbie boot for the label’s Fan Club presentation at the London Collections: Men, on June 17.

“We were thrilled to be asked to work with Robert Clergerie, a brand with such strong heritage, and are so happy with the end result,” said Cozette McCreery, who designs Sibling alongside Sid Bryan and Joe Bates.  “Taking our spring ’15 inspiration from various clubs and youth tribes, Robert Clergerie allowed us to completely modernize and adapt a new style into a youthful summer item in canvas for both men and women.”

Clergerie, helmed by designer Roland Mouret, modified the Delbie canvas boot, fresh from the brand’s Communal collection released earlier this year, to suit male and female proportions.

“For our first collaboration, we wanted to pick a brand that is relevant in London mens fashion week,” said Mouret, creative director at Clergerie. “We recently launched Robert Clergerie Homme, including a communal line, which Sibling was able to work with for both the menswear and women’s wear looks. [We] deconstructed the styles creating a boot with an amazing modern interpretation.”
