Palter DeLiso is getting rich for pre-fall '14. The Los Angeles-based women's label, which relaunched under new ownership last year after more than 30 years, went into its archives to select the most opulent textures and strongest colors for its latest pumps, evening shoes and sandals. Navy blue, olive green, chocolate and gold are among the hues, and materials include leather, ostrich and silk, with sumptuous feather prints, ink drops and brocades also featured throughout the collection. Metallic patent, glitter and Lucite also harken back to Palter DeLiso's glam 1920s and '30s roots. Retailing for $695 to $1,995, the revamped label made its modern debut with a trunk show at Modaoperandi.com in fall '13 and is now available via the Palter DeLiso e-commerce site. The shoes are set to make their brick-and-mortar debut in spring '14, starting with Fred Segal and Gregory's boutiques.
