With models hitting the runway through massive red doors and a cloud of billowy smoke, it’s safe to say Jason Wu’s fall ’12 show had no shortage of drama. Consequently, neither did his shoe collection. Wu’s styles ranged from totally tough-girl (i.e. completely covered in gold studs) to utterly demure (think: single-sole pointy-toe pumps), but this strappy sandal succeeded in expertly combining both aesthetics. While the sleek silhouette gives a nod to the classic femininity Wu is known for, the gold piping and studded platform embodies one of his edgiest collections to date.
