It was a white out on the New York catwalks this season, with the pure shade stepping forth as the new must-have neutral. On minimalist sandals or sheer ankle boots, the crisp white hue added a sleek modern polish to the season’s top styles. Plays on transparency and ton-sur-ton details also made an appearance, but this crop of strong silhouettes mostly lacks adornment, relying on sophisticated cuts and wearable heel heights for their updated edge.
