Joseph Altuzarra had a vision of power dressing for fall that could leave many women weak in the knees. The leather and fur dresses, some with padded hips for an exaggerated shape, were welcome updates to body-hugging looks, while up-to-there slits revealed sexy thigh-high boots created by Gianvito Rossi. A stark black-and-white color palette defined the collection, supported by eye-catching accessories that drove the point home. The two-tone striped fox fur mittens prompted many an iPhone photo, while these pointy-toe checkerboard ankle boots proved both runway- and street-ready.
