GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI

Where he would go to find free inspiration:
“I’d go [to] downtown NY, to Soho, take a walk, hang around, see people and then go uptown [and] visit the MOMA (try to get in without paying the ticket). Downtown you can see alternative shop windows, people dressed up in an interesting, urban way; even the hotels have peculiar designs and offer new hybrid forms of hospitality and communication. At the MOMA it’s amazing to see how the artists can see the future and be ahead of their time.”

Who influences him:
“[Women]: They’re never happy with what they have, never satisfied, always want something more, always want to feel beautiful and be attractive, have the constant need to reinvent oneself.”

What he’s most looking forward to this spring/summer:
“Music at full volume, some drinks, a lot of friends, the sunset at my sea house.”

PIERRE HARDY

Where he would go to find free inspiration:
“I would stay home, looking at some books and hanging around in Paris for a little while. [I would go to] the Georges Dubuffet Os abstract cave at Centre Pompidou museum, have a stop at Palais Royal and finish at the Cour carrée du Louvres that is the perfect open sky stone cube with ‘grandeur.’”

Who influences him:
“It is rarely real people from the past — inspiration is more connected to projection and a virtual character I would love to create through accessories.”

What he’s most looking forward to this spring/summer:
“Tanned legs, ankles and feet ... in neoprene bright sandals ready for the beach.”
