Irvine, Calif.-based Asics looks to the past for its fall ’13 lifestyle collection. The brand took classic running styles from its vault — the Gel-Lyte III, GT II, Gel-Lyte V and GT-Cool — and remade them with premium suede in both original and updated colorways. The firm also will expand its heritage Onitsuka Tiger line with two debut styles that have established uppers on new, lightweight outsoles. The Asics Archive styles will retail from $85 to $110 and will deliver for fall and holiday to select sneaker boutiques including Kith in New York; Proper in Long Beach, Calif.; St. Alfred’s in Chicago; and Concepts in Boston. The new Onitsuka Tiger shoes will deliver for fall to select accounts including Bloomingdale’s and Nordstrom, retailing for $85.
