From Giambattista Valli to Raf Simons at Dior, designers leaned toward a sharp toe for fall couture.

Fashion houses are spearheading the pointy-toe movement in couture. Giambattista Valli paired whimsical floral applique and tulle designs with gold-tipped toes, while at Schiaparelli, Marco Zanini accessorized a dramatic collection with razor-sharp, zip-front boots. At Dior, Raf Simons opted for classic black pumps.
