Airwalk Encourages Giving Online
This week, Airwalk debuted an digital charitable fundraising program, “Airwalk Doing Your Part.”

The Englewood, Colo.-based skate brand added a special section to its Website in an effort to raise $10,000 for two area charity groups. Consumers can get involved by submitting their e-mail addresses to Airwalk.com/doingyourpart and picking a charity. For each address entered, Airwalk will donate $1 to the charity of their choice.

The two goodwill organizations are Music for Relief, a protection and restoration charity that aids victims of natural disasters, and The Surfrider Foundation, which protects oceans and coastlines worldwide through research and education.

“These charities and their causes are something we really care about as a brand,” Eric Dreyer, VP of brand management at Collective Licensing International, which oversees the Airwalk brand, said in a statement. “‘Doing Your Part’ is a simple, yet meaningful way for Airwalk and its fans to help raise awareness and money.”

The site will stay up until the brand has achieved its $10,000 donation goal.

Benjamin Lovell Donates Naot Shoes
Philadelphia retailer Benjamin Lovell Shoes recently joined forces with comfort brand Naot to donate shoes to the People’s Emergency Center.

The Philadelphia-based agency works to strengthen relations within the neighborhoods and encourages change for women and children of that area. Naot, working through Benjamin Lovell, donated more than 100 pairs of women’s shoes and sandals.

“Everyone knows how good it feels to get a new pair of shoes for that special event or that important job interview,” John Holden, COO and spokesman for Benjamin Lovell, said in a statement, “and we just wanted to help that happen at PEC.”
