The British “it” girl is preparing to debut her first U.S. store in New York by year’s end. Besides growing her fan base with high-powered catwalk collaborations, Dellal launched e-commerce in April, and a bridal collection is in the offing for spring.

The flash shopping website added 60 new footwear brands to its offering this year, pushing shoe sales up 60 percent, according to the company. In September, the site launched Little Rue, a special selection of family-oriented footwear, apparel and accessories for kids and parents.
After expanding his presence in Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus, and adding Nordstrom for the first time, the designer continues to forge new territory. He’s also logging hours as a high-fashion consultant at Emilio Pucci and Casadei, and will launch a capsule footwear collection with Italian powerhouse Pirelli in 2012.
The two-time CFDA Swarovski Award nominee is expanding his line for next fall to include flats and mid-height heels. Ingelmo also has hinted at some big-name collaborations for 2012.
The upscale fashion-comfort designer continues to expand her account base, including high-profile spots in Bloomingdale’s in San Francisco and Century City, Calif. Three big-name collaborations are also in the works for the one-time schoolteacher, though details are being kept under wraps.
The U.K. e-tailer launched a U.S. version of the site and sales are growing three-fold each month. While footwear makes up about 12 percent of sales, the U.S. market could dramatically grow the $1.9 billion company.
The designer, who has won FN’s Vivian Infantino Emerging Talent award, recently collaborated with Kate and Laura Mulleavy for Rodarte’s star-studded runway show. Uyan plans to expand his handbag line for spring ’12 and men’s shoes could be on the way.
