Westford, Mass.-based Puma ushered in Black Friday by opening a new retail location in Chicago’s State Street development.
The two-floor, 8,000-sq.-ft. store will be the first in the U.S. to carry the company’s entire offering of apparel, footwear and accessories, including its high-end designer collaborations with Mihara Yasuhiro and Alexander McQueen, as well as its performance sports offering and Puma denim.
“During these tough economic times, the brands that stay true to themselves are the ones that will survive,” said North America president and GM Jay Piccola. “Now more than ever, it’s important for Puma to showcase the best of the brand to the world.”
