Polliwalks Names New CEO

Mark Salkovitz joins the brand to focus on developing the business.

Polliwalks has a new man in charge.

Marc Salkovitz, a seasoned executive with more than 20 years of experience working with entrepreneurial companies, has been named CEO of the brand. In his new role, Salkovitz will focus on building Polliwalks’ core business while also exploring new categories and pursuing additional licensing deals.

In other executive changes, Joel Rusnak has stepped down from his post as creative director to concentrate on relaunching his footwear design consultancy. Prior to creating the Polliwalks concept of animal-inspired molded EVA footwear, Rusnak designed kid and adult shoes for a number of brands, including Timberland, Saucony, Reebok, Stride Rite and Converse.
