Jones Apparel Group Names CMO

Stacy Lastrina has become chief marketing officer at the company.

Jones Apparel Group Inc. announced on Tuesday that Stacy Lastrina has been named chief marketing officer.

“It is a privilege to hold this position at Jones Apparel Group and be part of the JAG management team, working on such meaningful consumer brands,” Lastrina told Footwear News. “I’m lucky to lead such a dynamic and talented marketing team, and this recognition is as much about them as it is me.”

Lastrina has been with Jones Apparel Group for 19 years. In 1991, she joined Nine West Group (which was acquired by Jones in 1999) as director of marketing. Most recently, she served as EVP of marketing and creative services.

“Stacy is an exceptional marketing executive who brings a history of proven results and demonstrated leadership to this important role,” Wes Card, president and CEO of Jones Apparel, said in a statement. “Stacy has been instrumental in many initiatives across the company, including the launch of JNY Signature, Rachel Rachel Roy, the development of Jones New York in the Classroom and Jones Apparel Group Green initiatives, [as well as] other efforts to enhance our corporate social responsibility.”
