In a move to expand market potential for Italian-made footwear, The National Association of Italian Footwear Manufacturers and the Italian Foreign Trade Commission are organizing a group of 54 companies to participate in the first edition of Shoe & Leather Fair Middle East, set to run from Oct. 26-28 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
The event will include 150 exhibitors in footwear and leather goods and will be held concurrently with the fashion industry event Fashion Arabia and the Optical Middle East eyewear show.
Industry members from the United Arab Emirates, Saudia Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, Bahrain, Iran, Qatar, Oman and Lebanon are expected to attend. These regions have experienced a wave of flagship stores from Italian brands in new shopping malls.
