The K-Swiss crew partied last weekend with rockers Benji and Joel Madden of the band Good Charlotte and the apparel line DCMA Collective, during an unveiling party at the label’s Los Angeles flagship for the two-style, K-DCMA Footwear Collection. The limited-edition project (1,800 pairs of each were produced) feature DCMA’s signature prints and brass hardware details on classic K-Swiss silhouettes. “We wanted to do shoes for a while,” Joel told Insider. “We just wanted to find the right company to do it with. K-Swiss is cool. It’s a classic label. And skating, graffiti, rock-and-roll — those are all the things we do. It’s a good marriage.” As a bonus gift, party guests — including Nicole Richie, Audrina Patridge and Tila Tequila — each walked away with a pair of the new kicks. Several additional styles are scheduled to roll out throughout 2009.
