Swiss luxury house Bally has named Paulette Garafalo as CEO of Bally Americas following the resignation earlier this month of former CEO Steven LaGuardia.
Garafalo began her career in fashion at Bally in the 1980s as a women’s shoe buyer and merchandiser for the U.S. market. After a 10-year stint at the company, she left to pursue other leadership roles at Ferragamo Americas and Hickey Freeman.
The change in leadership of the American division comes six months after the resignation of Bally Chairman and CEO Marco Franchini, who is largely credited with rescuing the company during his seven years at the helm.
