FN’s daily Web stories will now be housed on WWD.com/Footwear-News. Users entering the old Footwearnews. com address will be redirected to this area of sister magazine Women’s Wear Daily’s site, which was relaunched with a bigger platform in August.
Going forward, to access most articles, FN readers will need paid access to WWD.com. Fairchild Fashion Group will communicate with all subscribers during the next few weeks about a free trial period.
The last issue of the digital edition will be Dec. 15.
FN Digital subscribers will receive WWD.com paid access for the remainder of their term.
The entire weekly FN print magazine will also be available on the FN Channel of WWD.com, and access to a PDF version of FN will be made available to all paid Web subscribers.
The FN Daily Update will continue to be sent out separately each day.
