El Naturalista Expands Charity Program

The footwear firm will donate a portion of profits to aid building efforts in Africa.

Spanish brand El Naturalista is taking its charity work into Africa with the expansion of its Atauchi Project.

The company will collaborate with Spain-based Amigos de Tanzania, a nonprofit organization, to build a library and finish the first stage of the Baobab Children's Home in Arusha, Tanzania.

El Naturalista donates a portion of the sale of every shoe to the cause. To date, the company has provided more than $200,000 to care for and educate children in Peru. Its current project, in Arequipa, Peru, is focused on building The City of Hope, a home for disabled and abandoned children.
