Deckers Outdoor Corp., parent of the Ugg Australia and Teva brands, has named a new CFO.
Thomas George, a 30-year corporate finance veteran, has joined the Goleta, Calif.-based company, filling the CFO slot that has been vacant since March, when Thomas Hillebrandt resigned. Since that time, Zohar Ziv, Deckers’ COO, has been acting as the principal financial and accounting officer at the company.
George was most recently CFO at Ophthonix Inc., a San Diego-based vision correction company. Prior to that, George served as CFO of Oakley Inc., now a division of Luxottica Group SpA.
