Converse is adding two big names to its roster of musical collaborations.
The North Andover, Mass.-based brand, a division of Beaverton, Ore.-based Nike, announced Tuesday that Australian power rockers AC/DC and seminal metal artists Metallica would be honored for fall ’09 with special high-top Chuck Taylor All Stars.
The three-style AC/DC collection will retail from $50 to $80 at specialty shops and department stores beginning this month. Two $50 Metallica shoes will debut in July at specialty accounts and department stores. Both collections will also be available at Converse.com.
