NEW YORK — Footwear News Editorial Director Michael Atmore is expanding his role at Fairchild Fashion Group.
In addition to his current duties, Atmore will serve as the director of brand development for FFG, which includes FN, Women’s Wear Daily, WWD.com, WWD Beauty Biz, Menswear, Fairchild Summits and Fairchild Books.
“In this vital combined effort, Michael will focus on the extension of our FFG brands, with particular attention to television, our expansion into new trade show venues, as well as the development of new products and initiatives,” said Fairchild President and CEO Gina Sanders.
“This is an incredible opportunity to expand the scope of the iconic titles we have at Fairchild,” Atmore said. “The future is all about strategic brand extensions that strengthen the image and power of the magazines that define fashion. We are excited to take the intelligence and insight that is our calling card and move it across multiple media platforms.”
With the broadened portfolio, Atmore will have a dual report to FFG Editorial Director Peter Kaplan and FFG VP and Chief Revenue Officer Will Schenck.
