Wayne D. Lee took her inspiration from Richard Serra, but brought his strong geometrics and architectural edge to a softer side. She deflated Serra’s minimal, sculpted shapes and rendered them as beautifully languid vests, jackets and tanks, all in a quiet palette of black and white, with the occasional shot of bright yellow. But Lee threw in a sexy factor, as well, in body-conscious goddess dresses. And to top it all off, the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist debuted her first collection of bags and jewelry.
