In Gen Art’s fashion show, six women’s designers lit up the runway at Manhattan’s Metropolitan Pavilion. Brookelynn Starnes showed a diverse collection for Cloak & Dagger featuring everything from a sleek strapless metallic dress to a Forties-style swimsuit. Next up, Duskin’s Stephanie Tran blurred the line between cool kid and goody two-shoes with such looks as a supershort floral tent dress and a black eyelet dress cinched with a rope belt. Then designer Stella Lee showcased slouchy draped pieces with a casual sportif bent for Linus, while Min Young Lee’s collection featured dressier beachy tunics.

The final two lineups were the most glam. The highlight of Joanne Cordero Reyes’ collection for Vicente Villarin was a translucent silk organdy cocktail dress with hand-stitched appliqués, while the standout pieces in Yeojin Bae’s sexy outing — and for the whole event — were her striking pleated gowns.
