Makeup artist Aaron de Mey said the matte texture chosen for models’ faces at Givenchy echoed the fabrics in the collection.

Eyebrows were bleached and mouths painted brown with a touch of caramel in the center.

“It gives a voluptuousness: a slightly punk feeling to the look,” said De Mey.

Hairstylist Luigi Murenu gave tresses a slight wave and – save for those models with bangs – a center part. He used products such as John Frieda’s Sheer Blonde and Brilliant Brunette.
