The mood at Modernist was soft and romantic for spring, with a color palette of white, rose, and violet. The design duo of Abdul Koroma and Andrew Jones turned out such gentle fare as dresses with baroque swirl appliqués, petal-shaped skirts, and dresses in Duchesse satin and transparent silk. However, the collection lacked freshness, reminiscent of looks already seen on other runways.
