L’Wren Scott puts on a great show, replete with a lovely lunch and lots of star power (on occasion, boyfriend Mick Jagger). This time it was more about the clothes than ever, with a real point of view. Midcalf sheaths looked terrific: bare, black and minimally detailed or sizzling with rhinestones on the neckline. She carried the feeling clear to the ground in a white Empire column. Sure, the requisite second-skin jeans were there in black or white with a parade of crosses running up the back of the legs. The most fun was a model in white jeans and a T-shirt under an ostrich-feather cape walking to the beat of “Fly Oh My Sweet,” a song written by Jagger, just for the show.
