"Remembering you’re alive is key. Health is wealth," says Stella McCartney. To wit: The designer showed her latest activewear collection bright and early Tuesday morning in a makeshift workout space animated by real athletes and gymnasts – some fresh from the Beijing Olympics - strutting their stuff. While many editors and guests stumbled into Stella's Gym bleary-eyed - and barely alive – they were certainly in for a treat. The collection was packed with ultra-feminine looks, including delicately ruched hoodies in sheer fabrics and floaty tennis dresses with lace appliqués, scalloped hemlines, embroidery and transparent layers. McCartney said her inspiration for the dresses came from Edwardian petticoats and nightwear. Working up a sweat was never so much fun.
