“Beautiful, beautiful,” declared hairstylist Eugene Souleiman, who was referring to the simple, center-parted low ponytail he did on 55 models for the D&G show on Monday.

Souleiman added glamour to ponytails by curling them with an oversize hot tong and teasing them a little to “fill it out.” He then smoothed the look with lashings of L’Oréal Elnett hairspray.

Meanwhile, Pat McGrath focused on exaggerating models’ peepers with false eyelashes, brown eyeliner and mascara on top and bottom lashes. The rest of the face was kept clean and young-looking, emphasized with a little pink blush.

“It’s all about the eyes this season,” said McGrath, adding, “I’m finally using mascara on the bottom lashes — it just looked right.”
