Sonia Rykiel’s signature coif was the inspiration for hairstyles backstage at Christian Lacroix Wednesday.

“There are very long bangs and very big hair,” said stylist Odile Gilbert, who added extensions to give oomph to models’ crops. Hair was also crimped and brushed to create volume.

Makeup artist Stephane Marais, meanwhile, focused on a fresh face.

“It’s more than fresh,” he said. “There’s a copper eyelid, very rosy cheeks and juicy, glossy lips.”
