“The idea is to keep the girls as realistic as possible, but fine-tuned,” said hairstylist Luigi Murenu, who was working backstage at Givenchy with Kérastase. “We’re blow-drying hair with the ends out, which gives a very airy and luscious look. It’s very simple, modern minimalism.”

Kérastase Mousse Nutri-Sculpt was worked into damp hair, which was dried with a center parting. Serum Nutri-Sculpt was smoothed into ends.

Tom Pecheux also took a natural tack for makeup.

“It’s a fresh, quite natural girl with a touch of Gothic,” he said. “There’s pale matte skin, no color on the face and some very, very light contouring.” Pecheux added a “halo of taupe” around the eyes, mascara on top lashes and concealer on lips to tone down their natural pink hue.
