Designers Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos splashed their signature colorful prints over short silk jersey dresses, blouses and skirts. They turned to rock crystal shapes, kaleidoscopic shards, and an artist’s tiny paintbrush daubs for print inspiration, and relied on strong colors such as cobalt blue, lava red, and coal. At times, this collection was heavy-handed, with far too much embellishment in the form of pebble-like beads and baubles. The simplest looks were the strongest ones.
