Though the roiling economic markets rendered the collections a veritable sideshow by comparison, spring was a season full of fabulous fashion, from Dolce & Gabbana’s Baroque pajamas, to Alber Elbaz’s glam reality at Lanvin and Raf Simons’ fringe fest at Jil Sander.
