Francisco Costa of Calvin Klein and Narciso Rodriguez took a softer approach to their typically minimal, streamlined aesthetics: the former with long, languid lines and a touch of bohemian luxury; the latter with proper English tweeds and silk jacquards that channeled classic, womanly elegance. Meanwhile, Carolina Herrera disguised a cozy knit as a sophisticated overcoat and used an abundance of leopard spots, which looked nice on a long, lean robe dress. A similar silhouette showed up in the Zero + Maria Cornejo collection, which was anchored in colorblocking and also introduced swimwear.
