For the second year, Frieze London landed on New York’s Randall’s Island for its international art exhibition. The event, which opened Thursday and continues through Monday, again is attracting an equally eclectic group of dealers, curators, artists and just-plain curious. At the Thursday opening, inventive fashion trumped trends. Looks were at times avant-garde, with plenty of head-to-toe black — all rendered differently — mixed with bright prints. A punkish style sometimes appeared alongside the more serious, the latter of which was no less creative or chic.
