Backstage beauty at Marios Schwab

“The inspiration for the show is Battlestar Galactica android aliens,” said Val Garland, who was working backstage at Marios Schwab with Revlon. “It’s all about a very blank face.” Garland created the look by first bleaching models’ eyebrows and preparing skin with Revlon Colorstay Makeup foundation.
“It’s radiant skin,” said Garland, who contoured and highlighted cheekbones with Revlon Bare It All Lustrous Lotion. She used gloss on eyelids to give a reflective finish and Revlon lipstick in Creamy Coral on lips.
Stylist Raphael Salley, working with L’Oréal Professionnel Tecni.art, took a pared down approach to hair. “It’s very, very minimal — a long ponytail,” he said. Hair was simply pulled back into long ponytails, straightened with irons and finished with Tecni.art Sublime Shine serum and Tecni.art Crystal Gloss shine spray.
