Designer Eri Utsugi turned to butterflies and Russia for inspiration for her fall/winter lineup. Sound like an odd combination? Well not to mercibeaucoup, a brand known for its daring takes on layering and over-the-top styling. Cocoon-like coats and sweaters encased models with hair resembling cotton candy. Patchwork patterns resembling the insect's wings cropped up sweatshirt dresses and low-slung pants. Pants sported exterior pockets resembling mittens. True to form, the finale was a dramatic one, with Utsugi emerging from a large Russian nesting doll to take her final bow.
