Zalando, Eleonora Carisi to Partner on Collection

The capsule, entirely manufactured in Italy, consists of nine pieces in a nature-inspired allover print.

ELEONORA’S STYLE: German e-tailer Zalando has teamed up with Italian blogger and street-style darling Eleonora Carisi to launch a clothing capsule collection for spring/summer 2014.

The capsule, entirely manufactured in Italy, consists of nine pieces in a nature-inspired allover print. They include an organza bomber, a silk top and a silk maxi dress with a Neoprene bustier. “The inspirations come from nature, from what surrounds us: nature seen as energy, as expression of pure beauty,” said Carisi, who launched her own label, called “What’s inside you” in 2009. “For this Zalando capsule, I had in mind a romantic and feminine woman, whose curves are exalted by both the fabrics and silhouettes. It’s an easy and fresh collection for a happy summer,” she said.

The collection, with retail prices ranging from 150 euro, or $203 at current exchange rate, for a top, to 400 euros, or $542, for a dress, will be available at zalando.com from March.
