SHAPE SCAPE: Fudge, the hair-care brand acquired by Britain’s PZ Cussons Beauty earlier this year, is teaming up with Zaha Hadid on a pop-up salon that will be open during London Fashion Week and the London Design Festival. From Sept. 17 to 21, the brand will operate a salon on Goswell Road in north London to celebrate “the architecture of hair.” It is to be housed in the same 4,800-square-foot space in which Hadid’s sculptural pieces for London Design Week will be on show. The salon has been created by Hadid in black and white. “There exists much more fluidity now between art, fashion and architecture,” said Hadid. While appointments will be by invitation only, the space is to be open to the public to view. Stylists including Fudge’s creative director John Vial and the brand's global head of technical training Tracy Hayes will offer styling, cutting and color appointments.
