YURMAN TO GO: David Yurman is the latest brand to give its customers the opportunity to shop on the go. The fine jewelry company has partnered with Createthe Group to launch m.davidyurman.com, its first mobile-commerce site. “Many of our brand devotees are busy executives with little time to shop, as well as people who simply appreciate the ease, convenience and speed of a world-class mobile-commerce experience,” said David Yurman president Carol Pennelli.
Both Yurman and Createthe Group are hoping this launch will make it easier to reach customers as they enter the holiday shopping season. Features on the mobile site include an extensive product catalogue, a “Style” shopping section, where customers can shop directly from celebrity looks, and the same ad campaigns featured on davidyurman.com. Mobile-enabled GPS also comes into play in the Store Finder, giving shoppers the ability to search for the closest David Yurman boutique or luxury department store carrying David Yurman, based on their location. Mobile shoppers also get access to exclusive mobile promotions.
