Yamamoto to Sell at Nipponista Pop-Up

Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings is putting together the 47 Greene Street showcase with an array of Japanese goods.

GREENE SHOOTS: Designs by Yohji Yamamoto and Kansai Yamamoto (whose kimonos were worn by David Bowie for his Ziggy Stardust tour) will be among the items that will be sold at Nipponista, a pop-up shop that will be open in SoHo during New York Fashion Week. Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings is putting together the 47 Greene Street showcase with an array of Japanese goods. Nipponista is an offshoot of Cool Japan, an initiative led by the Japanese government to drum up interest in Japanese fashion, art, food, lifestyle and technology.
Daisy Balloon, N. Hoolywood [folo] , Anrealage, Facetasm, Mint Designs and Tokyobike will be among the brands that will be in the exhibit.
