WRITING SKILLS: Stars turned out to celebrate the launch of a new Montblanc pen, called the Meisterstück L’Aubrac, during a lunch Tuesday in a private Paris apartment chockablock with art pieces and books. The new pen with a wooden body was created with Forge de Laguiole knife makers, based in the L’Aubrac region of southern France.
Actress Eva Green, dressed in Barbara Bui and American Apparel plus Montblanc earrings and Dior shoes, said she has just finished shooting the historical film “300: Rise of an Empire” in Sofia. In it, she plays the role of a warrior.
“It is a big action film. I am all broken,” exclaimed Green, adding she trained for four months with no less than one physical trainer and two coaches to get ready. “I might do a little film next, but it is not signed yet. It is the opposite — [a] very cerebral, intimate film.”
Olivia Palermo and her boyfriend of five years, Johannes Huebl, were enjoying a quick trip to Paris, staying in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood, trying out Vélib, the city’s short-term bicycle rental system and testing new shops and restaurants to review on her Web site. Wearing a Tibi skirt, vintage Armani jacket, Manolo Blahnik shoes and BCBG bag, Palermo said the duo is off to Boston Wednesday to attend the opening of Mario Testino’s exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts.
Huebl, who appears in the fall DKNY advertising campaign with Ashley Greene, revealed he is also dabbling in fine arts photography.
