Wouters & Hendrix Collaborate With Maison Delvaux

A limited edition cuff dubbed Embrace, features a curve designed to cup the pisiform bone that protrudes from the wrist.

OFF THE CUFF: Imitation is the best form of flattery, as the saying goes. Playing with the concept, Studio Delvaux has collaborated with Antwerp-based jewelry label Wouters & Hendrix on a vermeil cuff with a textured surface recalling leather grain. Studio Delvaux is the creative studio of luxury Belgian leather goods house Maison Delvaux.

Designers Katrin Wouters and Karen Hendrix made a mould using a strip of Delvaux bag leather for the limited-edition piece, which was produced using the traditional lost wax casting and repoussé metalworking techniques.

Dubbed Embrace, the cuff features a curve designed to cup the pisiform bone that protrudes from the wrist.

The design will enter Delvaux’s e-commerce site and the brand’s stores in Brussels, Antwerp and Knokke Le Zoute from Nov. 17, as well as Wouters & Hendrix stores in Brussels and Antwerp, priced at 2,800 euros, or about $3,800 at current exchange rates.
