WORKERS’ REWARD: It will be a sweeter Christmas for employees of Brunello Cucinelli’s luxury firm. The Italian company, which went public in April, has been posting growing sales and profitability and expanding around the world, registering a 25.3 percent increase in net profits in the first nine months of the year, and its namesake founder is distributing some of that wealth. Although Cucinelli declined to provide the exact amount that will be destined as a personal gift to about 780 employees, he is rumored to have earmarked a total of 5 million euros, or $6.5 million at current exchange.
