WEINSWIG LEAVES CITIGROUP: Longtime Citigroup broadlines analyst Deborah Weinswig has been named chief customer officer at retail analytics firm Profitect. Weinswig, a nearly 12-year veteran of Citigroup, was also the global consumer discretionary sector head at the firm. Her last day at the financial firm was Monday.

Last year, Weinswig received ICSC’s researcher award for outstanding service and was also ranked as one of “The 36 Best Analysts on Wall Street” by Business Insider. Since 2002, she has been the top ranking analyst in the retailing/broadlines sector as earnings estimator and ranked second or third as a stock picker by StarMine.

In her new role, Weinswig will help Profitect work with clients to leverage big data and mobile. She reports directly to Profitect’s ceo, Guy Yehiav.
