PHOTO OP: Louis Vuitton is the latest luxury brand to jump on the Instagram bandwagon. On Friday, the LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton-owned label began giving the photo-sharing platform’s users a preview of preparations for its Oct. 3 spring 2013 fashion show, via @louisvuitton. The catwalk presentation on Wednesday, at 10 a.m. CET, at the Cour Carrée du Louvre, will as usual be streamed live on Vuitton’s Web site and via its Facebook page.
The brand was the first to stream one of its fashion shows over the Internet in October 2009. It already claims 9 million fans on Facebook, 740,000 Twitter followers and a dedicated YouTube channel.
