AHOY, MATEY: Vivienne Westwood has joined forces with the Cambridge Satchel Company to create a limited edition collection of bags. Inspired by Westwood’s 1981 “Pirate” collection, they feature pale tan buckles and straps that replicate those on Westwood’s “Pirate” boots, and use a “Squiggle” print that also appeared in the collection.

“As our fifth anniversary, this is a very special year for us,” said Cambridge Satchel Company founder Julie Deane. “We’ve brought back a quintessential British bag back into fashion and so when we thought about a dream British brand to work with on an anniversary range, Westwood was the most obvious choice for a collaboration and to keep the brand moving in a fashion direction.” The bags come in two sizes and three color ways — yellow and black, white and red squiggle, and brown and black. A larger 14” bag will retail for 195 pounds, or $314, and an 11” option will sell for 165 pounds, or $266, in Westwood and Cambridge Satchel Company stores from October.
