PRADA’S VICTORY: After making its debut early this month in Palermo, Prada’s Luna Rossa Challenge 2013 won the America’s Cup World Series in Naples, Italy, on April 15. The Luna Rossa Piranha catamaran triumphed in the final race — the most important one for racking up points — propelling the team to victory with Chris Draper at the helm, Francesco Bruni as wing trimmer, Pierluigi de Felice and Nick Hutton as trimmers, and Dave Carr as freestyler.

“The whole team has done really well,” said Max Sirena, the Luna Rossa Challenge 2013 skipper. “We worked very hard in the last three weeks and are now proud of this result, especially because it is our first time racing with these boats with which other teams have been practicing for over a year.”
