INTIMATE AFFAIRS: Versace has brought in-house the production and distribution of its beachwear and underwear lines, which were previously manufactured under license by Tuscany-based company Le Bonitas.
Designed by the fashion house’s creative director Donatella Versace, the new men’s and women’s Versace Underwear and Versace Beachwear collections, which feature bright colors and prints in keeping with the brand’s image, will hit both the company’s flagship stores and selected specialty shops starting from January. The underwear pieces will be sold with a packaging showing images shot by fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott and featuring models Ryan Barrett and Kendra Spears.
